Feng Chia Night Market is within a 1 kilometer radius of Feng Chia University. According to marketing surveys, it is one of the most popular and visited night markets among young people. Maple Garden
The Maple Garden was open on Nov. 25, 2012, and became a new tourist attraction in Taichung. The Maple Garden is filled with many plants. After renovation, the basin became an ecological lake.It combines a variety of functions, including ecology, landscape, air quality improvement, to provide the visitors with better quality in their travel.
Rainbow Village
Rainbow Military Dependents’ Village is a colorfully painted lane, filled with childlike fun and joy. These portraits, animals and color blocks are moving to witness and have a special local quality. When people began to visit specially to see them, this once quiet and forgotten village came back to life.
Gaomei Wetlands
The Gaomei Wetlands are located on the south side of the Dajia River Estuary in Qingshui. One of the most well known and well preserved wetland habitats in Taiwan. Over 120 species of bird have been recorded here .With windmills on the background, and beautiful sunsets let the Gaomei Wetlands become a hot spot for photo shooting.
Xinshen

Calligraphy Greenway
The band shaped city space that is Green Park Road connects the National Museum of Natural Science, Citizens’ Plaza, CMP Park Lane, an arts space, the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and a food street. As the design was based on the concept of finding the Way the writing of ‘grass script’ calligraphy it is also known as the Calligraphy Greenway.
National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts
National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts is Located on Wuquan West Road in Taichung. The museum is regularly used as a venue for exhibitions of the works of renowned Taiwanese and international artists and boasts a fine arts street, an arts plaza and a cultural relic supply department, meeting the various needs of visitors.
Natural Science Museum
As one of the most heavily attended museums in Taiwan. The Natural Science Museum is a place filled with hand-on exhibits that delights children and adults of all ages. As a matter of fact, the Museum is a major science learning center with over half a million school children visiting annually. In addition, rotating special exhibits are a constant occurrence to the Museum.
Taichung Park
Taichung park has a manmade lake, pavilions, arched bridges and other landscape features as well as an outdoor stage, children’s playground, tennis courts and other recreational facilities, making it suitable for all the family. As the park is located in central Taichung and is easy to get to it is a popular family destination at weekends and holiday times.

The Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area is praised for its five major recreational systems, including the lake, Shueili River, Puli, Jhuoshuei River and Jiji. Divided by Lalu Island, the Sun Moon Lake scenic area got its name from the unique terrains that look like sun on one side and crescent moon on the other.
